I got my first taste of physical fitness by growing up in East Tennessee on a farm. There is nothing like manual farm labor to teach you why being fit is so important! Outside of farm life, sports were a huge part of my life from age 5 through college. Sports taught me about dedication, discipline, hard work, and passion…all traits that I have carried over into my professional life. I graduated from The University of Tennessee (Go Vols!!) with a degree in exercise science and then attended Belmont University were I received my MBA with a focus on health care management. I have two beautiful daughters, an awesome son, a Chocolate Lab and a beautiful wife that keeps me centered. I am passionate about helping people change their lives for the long-term through education, encouragement, and hard work. Fad diets and workouts do not last…. Education, Passion, and Dedication drive change…. And that is why I am here…To help you start or fitness journey or take your fitness to the next level.
Greg obtained his degree in Biology from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wi. After a year of doing research and development for a chemical company, Greg realized that was not for him and that he needed to be in a much more active environment.
Combining his education and passion to be active, led him to the career as a Personal Trainer. Wanting to be able to provide the best service to his clients, Greg went back to Massage Therapy School and completed a 15-month program at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (Cortiva Institute). In 2013, Greg became certified in Neurokinetic Therapy Level 1. Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) is a unique system of assessing through manual muscle tests how the motor control center of brain wants to move the body. This provides a path to get to the root of a movement dysfunction. In 2018, Greg certified in the highest NKT Level 3.
Greg is happy to be an option for people in their journey to feel and move better and will attack any situation with a positive mental attitude and persistent patience.
